Sometimes life feels like a series of never-ending commitments. Commitments to clients, colleagues, family, and friends take up time and energy. Often the promises we make to ourselves fall by the wayside.
In his book Time Warrior, Steve Chandler says, “Commitments are not ontological or theoretical. They are creations. You make them up. Then you keep them. You have total control over them.“
Viewed in this way, commitments serve as tools that keep your vision for your life moving forward.
